Project Petaling Street is life again! I suppose to visit them and show my support on their ‘re-opening’ on 30/11/2010 after my last post for PPS but I have totally forgotten the day due to my back pain.

I am happy when I go to the page and found their new look and it seems like functioning well. They are numbers of recent pinged posts but not as frequent as previous. I think most properly not all their fans noticed that they are back.

I am excited to see my blog link in their new version so I go to the ‘Submit a New Ping Now‘ section. Too bad because of too long never excess to the site I forgotten my password. Tried and failed for the third times then came out a message that I need to wait for 49 minutes to continue.

Wait and try again. But I am failed again. What a forgetful auntie! This times the message shown that I need to wait 89 minutes for the third attempt.

I really out of idea what my password is. So, the best is to request a new password.

This is the message I get:

You have successfully requested a password reset. If the email address exists in our database you will be sent a password recovery email soon.

Go to my mailbox and check. Wait, check, wait, check, wait and check….

No mail from them after 30 minutes. Ok. I will check my mailbox again when my next excess to computer. ~Disappointed

My last visit to Project Petaling Street was 4 months ago. I feel upset when I found that this local famous blog pinger was not excess-able even though I tried it for several times after few weeks.

I check out their status later on about a month ago then I found that the site is back but the ping service is not functioning.

I am glad to know that the Project Petaling Street Blog Ping service team members are working to give it a new life when I check on the web latest status. They are in the preparation of a new start by installing new Pigg system. I have no idea what the system is but for sure I will visit them again on 30th November as promised to be one of the witnesses of their brand new open ceremony!

I used to ping my blog posts. I do it only when I published some interesting topics which I think people would like to know more about.

This is one of the ways to get new visitors to my blog. I can see my blog rank is not bad when I keep on ping my blog post periodically.

My blog ranking dropped significantly recently due to lack of time to blog. I am trying to do the same but unfortunately I found that the blog pinger that I love to use is now no longer existed!

What’s happened with PetalingStreet.org? Do they make any announcement about the closure of the site? Kind of irresponsible to their royalty users, isn’t it?
