Many children playground are not well maintained. Those playgrounds located at the residences area’s field fixed by the local authority which I believe the fund are from our government. Is the government just allocated the playground equipments fund but no allocation for the maintenance cost? Or the local authorities are not doing their job well?

Those colorful plastic material playgrounds look so beautiful when newly fixed. But days after days under the strong sunny days and heavy raining days, the color are getting out. Besides, kids are leak of conscious take good care of public facilities, most of the play equipments are broken.

I do believe that government not choose to provide wooden swing sets is because of the higher costing compare to plastic sets. But if they do consider the maintenance cost of the plastic sets, I am sure those wooden playgrounds are much worth to buy.
